Salud is a Hospital located in Mansfield Texas with a friendly and fun design approach to let clients feel less intimidated by a hospital. The hospital uses positive language and fun little characters to make clients feel welcomed. The purpose of this project was to develop a corporate brand with subsidiaries along with assets to bring the company to life.
The icon is a combination of a rainbow and the letter 'S'. The rainbow symbolizes hope, new beginnings, peace, and divine promises; which aligns with what the hospital stands for. Thick and thin lines are used to show movement and are consistent in the branding of the company. Salud uses warm colors to combat the cold/dull atmosphere hospitals are often known for.
